John
Chapman…has been in ministry
since 1986, working primarily in the fields of Youth and
Music. He is a licensed and ordained minister. John resigned
from Wynne Chapel three years ago (7/06) to begin work
on the SPRING Student Center in Willcox which is now finishing
up it's second year of operation. John has a Bachelor
of Music Education, a Masters in Music from the University
of Louisville and has hours toward his Masters in Biblical
Studies through Trinity Seminary out of Indiana. He and
Sharon have been married for 22 years and have 2 sons,
Aaron, 34 in Seattle, Washington and Joshua, 29 in Queens,
New York.
John's five years as the Associate Pastor
at Wynne Chapel
included working with the Youth, leading worship in the
8:00 a.m. service with "Reflection" and filling
in for the senior pastor when needed. He enjoys songwriting,
produces the recordings for “Reflection,”
works with sound systems, enjoys graphic design and web
site development. But most importantly he enjoys working
for the Lord. In 2006 he went on a 2 week mission trip
to Ecuador where they built a church and erected a portable
chapel. In April/May of 2008 he went back for another
2 week trip to Riobamba, Ecuador to work on a district
center for the area churches. He recently has gotten back
into riding motorcycles and is a member of the Christian
Motorcycle Association as well as Bikers for Christ.
John wrote a daily devotional, called
the WORD, for two and a half years which he published
on 6 websites including our own blog, but has pared that
down to a weekly project. He is currently working on expanding
the SPRING Student Center ministry in the area we live
and involving area churches and young people to carry
the work on. The next project is a mini-skate park, basketball
area and outdoor seating for the summer evenings. The
SPRING serves kids between the ages of 12 and 19. John
is the founder and President of R & R Ranch.
Sharon
Chapman…has been singing
in small ensembles for many years as well as playing the
piano. She works for Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services
as the I.T. Asset Manager. She has been a computer programmer
for almost 30 years and helps John with the more technical
side of the computer world. Sharon brings the gift of
hospitality to the group, loves to cook, sing in “Reflection”
and loves to work with the folks in the nursing homes
and more recently the youth at the SPRING Student Center.
She
is working on a photo journal of all those the group has
ministered to in these assisted living homes over the
past several years. Sharon serves on the board and is
the treasurer.
Bea
Jensen…loves singing with
“Reflection” and ministering to those in the
hospital and nursing homes and now the SPRING Student
Center. She was the Director of Health Information Management
at Northern Cochise Community Hospital in Willcox for
nearly eleven years and is now serving in the same position
in the Southeast Arizona Medical Center in Douglas, Arizona.
Bea also gives assistance to the elderly and others with
the interpretation of their medical bills. She serves
on the board and is the secretary.
No
one takes a salary from the R & R Ranch, including
those working at the SPRING Student Center. All funds
go directly to ministry.
The
R & R Ranch operates solely on donations from
those like yourself and provides complete statements for
